Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 15, 2026This Privacy Policy explains what information Shuflr (“we”, “us”), available at shuflr.club, handles when you use the site, and the choices you have. Shuflr is deliberately built to know as little about you as possible: there are no user accounts and no server-side database of players.
1. Information we handle
- Display name and avatar. When you play, you choose a display name and an avatar (an emoji or a small image you upload). These are stored in your own browser’s local storage and shared with the players at your table while you play. They are not tied to a verified identity.
- Game data. Tables, hands, scores and table chat exist only in the server’s memory while a table is live. A table is deleted automatically about 15 minutes after its last player disconnects. Nothing about your games is written to a database.
- Technical logs. Like almost every website, our server may record standard access information (IP address, browser type, requested page, timestamp) for security and to keep the service running. These logs are routine, short-lived and not used to profile you.
2. Cookies and local storage
Shuflr itself does not use cookies for tracking. We use your browser’s local storage to remember your preferences on your own device: your display name, avatar, table theme, card-back design, sound setting and a random player identifier that lets you reconnect to a table if your connection drops. This data stays in your browser; you can clear it at any time through your browser settings.
3. Advertising and third-party cookies
To keep Shuflr free, we may display advertising served by third-party partners, including Google AdSense.
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
- Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalised advertising at www.aboutads.info.
- For more on how Google uses data from sites that use its services, see policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
4. Analytics
Shuflr does not currently run third-party analytics. If that ever changes, this policy will be updated first.
5. What we never do
- We do not sell, rent or trade any information.
- We do not require registration, email addresses or phone numbers to play.
- We do not handle payments — there is nothing to buy. All chips are play money.
6. Children
Shuflr is a free game site with no real-money element, but it is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
7. Your choices
- Clear your browser’s local storage to remove everything Shuflr remembers on your device.
- Use the advertising opt-outs linked in section 3 to control ad personalisation.
- Email us with any privacy question or request.
8. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, the new version will be posted on this page with an updated date at the top.
