Court Piece (Rang) is the four-player partnership game: you and the player across the table against the other two, thirteen tricks, and a trump suit called by the dealer’s right hand. Shuflr plays single sir, double sir, double-sir-with-ace and hidden rung.

Rules

Four players form fixed partnerships across the table. A 52-card deck gives 13 cards each. The caller chooses trump (rang); play proceeds anti-clockwise. Follow the led suit when able. Otherwise play any card. Highest trump wins, or highest card of the led suit if no trump is played; the winner leads next.

Modes

Single Sir: first partnership to seven tricks wins the deal. Double Sir: tricks remain in a pile until a team wins two consecutive eligible tricks. Double Sir + Ace: an ace-won trick does not complete that consecutive pair. Hidden Rung: trump stays secret until a player cannot follow suit.

A caller-team win scores 1; defenders score 2. A 7–0 court, or the configured seven-deal court streak, earns the larger court award shown by the table. First to the target points wins; zero means endless play.
