2–6 players · free private tables · no download, no sign-up · play money only

Thirteen cards, two decks, a cut-card wild joker, and the eternal hunt for that second sequence. Shuflr plays both pool rummy (101 or 201 — bust out and you’re gone) and points rummy (every deal settles in counters), with automatic deadwood counting and suggested sets and sequences as you arrange your hand.

How it works on Shuflr

  1. Open Shuflr, pick the game, and create a private table — no account, no download.
  2. Share the six-letter code (or the invite link) with your friends; they join from any browser, phone or laptop.
  3. Short a player? Add computer bots to fill the table.
  4. Chips and counters are play money. Nothing is bought, sold or won — it’s just the score.

Rules

Two decks plus two printed jokers. Everyone gets thirteen cards and a cut card fixes the wild joker — every card of that rank (and the printed jokers) substitutes for anything. On your turn draw from the closed stock or the open discard, then discard one card.

Winning

Arrange all thirteen cards into runs (3+ consecutive cards of one suit; ace plays low or high, no wrap) and sets (3–4 of a rank in different suits). You need at least two sequences, one of them pure (no jokers), before anything else counts. Declare by discarding a fourteenth card and showing your groups.

Counting

Losers count their unmatched cards — faces and aces 10, jokers 0 — capped at 80. Without a pure sequence the whole hand counts; with only one sequence, everything outside the pure run counts. A wrong declare is the full 80. Dropping before drawing on your first turn costs 20; later drops cost 40.

Formats

Pool: points accumulate across deals; cross 101 or 201 and you're eliminated — last player standing wins. Points: every deal settles immediately in counters — each loser pays their count × the point value to the winner.
